Storyteller's Aid

The Storyteller's Aid is an inconspicuous looking item, nothing more than a long silver necklace with a pendant in the shape of a small, open book on the end. Once worn, it allows the wearer to easily assume various voices when telling a story. They can modify their own voice, making them deeper, higher, lower – whatever they desire - and distinct for each person in the story they are reciting. They can even, with practice, more easily mimic animal noises and soft background sounds like wind gusting through trees or running water.
