The snowdrop flower, also called the milk flower, is a lovely white flower, with a blossom that droops in a bell-like shape; they usually have 3 - 5 petals, and grow in bunches close to the ground. Snowdrops bloom in the early spring, and it is not uncommon to see them beginning to sprout through the melting layers of snow. While pretty, they don't have any real use, and are usually left alone by animals such as deer and rabbits, making them a favourite for gardens.
