Description
Saera chooses her words carefully and expects others to do the same. Her decisions are swift but certain and she abides few doubts or arguments. What she lacks in creativity she makes up for in a strong sense of unrelenting honor. Should a monk appear before her with an offense, they should be prepared to face not only a duel to the death, but a question of their own morality. Of course, Saera is aware that not all of the people she leads are as noble, so she picks her battles where she can. She knows when to prove a point and when to show a politician’s mercy, even when it is known to pain her personally. Ultimately, her greatest passion is that of swordplay and she can most often be found in the arena at the Headquarters. There, she is willing to face anyone who would challenge her and show no mercy, until the end.
History
Born the daughter of philosophizing fisherman, Saera joined the priesthood at the young age of 16. Her keen eye promoted her to acolyte eight years later, and she rose in the ranks with remarkable speed. Having spent most of her life in the shadows of wise superiors, she never forgets a precedent. She learned to play the game of politics because she thought she could do good in a high place, but in the process, her strength of will became blind stubbornness. Nonetheless, the Sharp Blade seems to think her wise and fair. At least, she never forgot what was most important: the strength of her sword’s edge.
