Raynard Darcy is the Sergeant Knight for the 8th Wing, Orange Company, 1st Regiment, Silver Quadron. He is stationed in Syliras, and his company patrols the Bronze Woods to the north and east of the city itself.

Appearance
Raynard is a simple, good man, and this shows through in his appearance. His dark hair is kept short and clean, but is rarely fussed over, and so tends to just sit in a slightly curled, tossled state. His light brown eyes are those of someone who has seen battles and bloodshed, but there is still kindness there for the weak and the good.
He has a tendancy to forget to shave in leue of more important things, and so tends to have a bit of rugged stubble clinging about his face most of the time. His body is fit and strong, as it appropriate for a Syliran Knight, and is marked in a few places with the scars of battle.
Personality
Raynard is a wholesome man who believes completely in the tenants of the Syliran Knights and their goals. Though he is harsh and demanding when it comes to the law and the Knights under him, he always has a smile for the innocent and scared.
Beyond serving the Syliran Knights, his goal is to make Mizahar a better place than it was when he was born. So he is willing to do whatever honorable, just things he can to further that ideal, even if that might mean him doing less glorious or obvious work.
Biography
Born to a Knight and her husband, Raynard was raised to stories of the Syliran Knights and the good that they were bringing to the world. Enchanted from a young age, he grew up with no other desire than to join the Knights and serve as his Mother did.
Serving dutifuly as a squire and a page, at 18 he received his Knightly Quest, to help escort a healer of the Opal Order to her destination. Slightly confused by the order, as the Konti already had protection from her Ivaski, but dedicated to serving he packed and left with the Konti for Zeltiva.
While on the road the small group was attacked by a Talderian bear, and though both were injured, Raynard and the Ivaski managed to fight it off and protect the Konti healer. As he recovered from his wounds Raynard realized that if he had not been there to help, the fight would most likely gone very differently. Now with complete faith in the direction of the Syliran Knights he completed his quest and returned to assume the mantle of full Knighthood.
Throughout the following years Raynard served diligently and earnestly, and was raised to the rank of Sergeant Knight. Now with his own Wing Raynard turned some of his focus inwards, determined to instill his belief and desire in the Squires and Knights he was responsible for. Proudly he has watched several of them move up admist the Syliran Knights, and he hopes to be able to see many more of them rise and continue his work as he grows older.
